Completed: October 14, 2023 | Elevation: Twin Peaks – 922′, Corona Heights Crag – 510′ | Trail: n/a | Distance: < 1 mile
We scooted to the central part of the city and spent the afternoon completing our last two Nifty Ninety peaks located in San Francisco. Found in adjacent neighborhoods, both Twin Peaks and Corona Heights Crag offer sweeping views looking east.

Twin Peaks was our first stop. With a scooter, it was easy to find parking in the small lot between the two peaks. Each peak is easily accessed by a set of steps to the top, and we started with the southern one called Noe. From there we descended the backside and walked along Twin Peaks Boulevard back to the parking lot in the center and followed the trail to the top of Eureka. We descended the steps on the northside of the peak, walked to Christmas Tree Point to catch a few more views, and completed our figure-eight loop by taking the road back to the scooter.
It was then a short ride to Corona Heights Park. From the main entrance located at the intersection of Roosevelt Way and Museum Way, we took the path that led to the outcropping of rocks at the top of the hill. This was followed by an easy scramble to the high point. Although this park was only a mile northeast of Twin Peaks, the skies were bluer here.
With the two peaks wrapped up, we headed back home.
